Consultant, Human Capital Management

ROLE SUMMARY:
 
The Consultant, Human Capital Management is responsible for the design, configuration, implementation, 
support, and continuous improvement of SAP HCM and SAP SuccessFactors solutions across the 
organisation. The role works closely with HR, Payroll, Time Administration, Finance, Operations, and other 
business stakeholders to translate HR business requirements into effective digital solutions that support 
employee lifecycle management, organisational management, time management, payroll integration, 
workflows, reporting, compliance, and user experience. The role will also support the organisation’s 
transition from SAP HCM to SAP SuccessFactors by contributing to fit-gap analysis, data migration, 
integration, testing, user adoption, and post-go-live support.


ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
• Configure, support, and optimize SAP HCM and SAP SuccessFactors solutions to meet HR business 
requirements. 
• Support the migration and transformation of HR processes from SAP HCM to SAP SuccessFactors. 
• Work with HR stakeholders to analyse requirements, document processes, and recommend effective 
system solutions. 
• Support SuccessFactors modules such as Employee Central, Recruitment, Onboarding, Performance & 
Goals, Learning, Compensation, and related HR capabilities as applicable. 
• Support SAP HCM processes including Personnel Administration, Organizational Management, Time 
Management, payroll integration, and employee master data. 
• Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, test scripts, user guides, and process 
documentation. 
• Coordinate with technical, integration, data, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and vendor teams to deliver HR 
system enhancements and integrations. 
• Support data migration, data validation, employee master data quality, and integration between 
SuccessFactors, SAP, payroll, and other enterprise systems. 
• Provide functional support for incidents, service requests, system issues, workflow issues, and user inquiries.
• Conduct user training, workshops, and knowledge-transfer sessions to improve adoption of SAP HCM 
and SuccessFactors solutions. 
• Support testing activities including unit testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing, regression 
testing, and post-go-live validation. 
• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, automate manual activities, enhance reporting, and 
improve employee and manager self-service capabilities. 


QUALIFICATION & EDUCATION:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Management information system, 
Human Resources, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. 


EXPERIENCE:
   
• Minimum 8 years of experience in SAP HCM and SuccessFactors implementation, support, 
enhancement, and optimization projects. Experience with SAP ECC HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, 
Employee Central, Talent Management, Learning, Recruitment, payroll integration, HR digital 
transformation, and data migration is preferred.  
• Good knowledge of FICO, MM, SD, PP, QM, PM, BW, system integrations, and end-to-end business 
processes.

SKILLS:

• Strong knowledge of SAP HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, Employee Central, HR processes, workflow 
automation, reporting, and system integrations.  
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, stakeholder management, business process improvement, testing, and 
documentation skills.  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with 
stakeholders at all levels.  
• SAP SuccessFactors, SAP HCM, or relevant SAP certifications preferred.  
• Experience with SAP ECC HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, HR transformation initiatives, and integration with 
other SAP modules is an advantage.
